Playing a round in the zone thanks to Jungle Juice, played from 225 away in the woods and put it pin high next to the green. Combined with the chip-in for eagle, by far my best shots ever.

GVVVVV Registration Now Open

TERRA ALTA, WV — Golfapalooza’s silver anniversary is approaching. Who ever could have believed as we sat in Wakim’s bar one summer evening back in 1997 that the event could have lasted this long or grown into what it has become? GVVVVV, (we’ve never been great with Roman numerals), will take place from September 16th to September 19th, 2021, with the traditional KGB Cup practice round to be held on Wednesday, September 15th.

There are lots of rumors floating around as to what may happen for this year’s event: perhaps the largest rookie class ever, perhaps the largest ‘Loozer’s who have been absent for a while and are making a comeback’ class ever, what give-aways might be in store for this year? will this finally be the year that we are asked not to come back? (That one’s a solid ‘no’, and we intend to keep it that way.) Can JT get that singles cornhole belt back from GStan? (Also a solid ‘no’).

Don’t miss out on what will undoubtedly be the best version ever of what was already the most exciting and exhausting event in the world of amateur golf. Please register your attendance probability and sign as soon as possible; put in your time off requests; contact your rookies and your ghosts of Golfapaloozas past and have them do the same. Hope to see all of you in September! CAN’T WAIT!
